Tai Chi is a martial art that benefits overall health and cultivates healing. Designed to reduce stress and tension, the practice of tai chi promotes one's vitality. The slow, even movements of tai chi build strength, endurance, coordination and confidence. The benefits of exercise, mind-body awareness and memory practice are key parts of tai chi. Current research has shown that tai chi improves balance, circulation, respiration and relieves symptoms of arthritis, Parkinson’s disease and peripheral neuropathy.
